A. For 2search users
Data: account name, surname, email and password (stored hashed); subscriptions and payments (card data is handled by Stripe, not by us); searches; IP addresses and technical logs for security; your location, only if you share it, to compute distances, not kept beyond the search.
Purposes and legal basis: providing the service (contract); invoicing and legal obligations; security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest).
Recipients: technical providers that help us run the service (hosting, email via Microsoft 365, payments via Stripe), appointed as processors.
Retention: for the life of the account and then as required by law (10 years for accounting records); technical logs for no more than 180 days.
B. For businesses in the archive (Art. 14 GDPR)
Sources: the open Overture Maps dataset (licence CDLA-Permissive-2.0), the businesses' public websites and a web search.
Data: business name, category, address, coordinates, phone, email, certified email, VAT number, website and social profiles published by the business itself. For sole traders and professionals some of this is personal data.
Purpose and legal basis: providing businesses and professionals with lists of business contacts, based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), limited to contacts the business chose to publish.
Recipients: 2search subscribers, who undertake to use them lawfully.
Retention: as long as the business appears in public sources, or until you ask to be removed.
You can object at any time: request removal here. Removal also applies to future updates of the archive.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing by writing to info@ariall.eu. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or your local authority.
